Full Job Description

As our patients’ first point of contact, you’ll be the friendly face and voice of our Chiropractic clinic, providing outstanding customer service, and patient support. You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time. We are in need of a Front Office Coordinator to deliver high quality customer service.

Must Be Able to:

Greet patients
Assist patients in completing all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance.
Accurately verify benefits via phone, ask detailed questions outside of what is provided, and set up accounts accurately
Inform patients of pertinent office procedures and policies
Maintain and manage patient records
Manage a fluid schedule for multiple providers
Assist the providers and control the flow of the patients in the office
Answer calls and deal with inquiries
Schedule patient appointments and attempt to maintain continuity of care
Collect copays and payments
Provides any necessary follow up duties post patient appointment, including requesting feedback/review from patients
Report statistics as required
Reconciles all over the counter collections daily
Maintain accurate inventory, as well as adequate supply of nutritional supplements
Obtain external medical records as requested by providers
Respond and comply to requests for records and/or information
Participate in regular meetings and any other training as requested by management
Complete other clerical duties as assigned
Maintain stock of office supplies
Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
Ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed throughout the office and in between patients to ensure patient, provider, and staff safety

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma
Related experience in a clinical setting (physician, dental, chiropractic, or physical therapy) is helpful
Knowledge of computer and software applications, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Etc
Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
Working knowledge of medical insurance preferred

Benefits:

Pay starts at $20/hour depending on experience, plus (after probationary period) lucrative periodic profit-sharing bonuses based on office performance
PT-FT Hours, 8-6, Monday-Wednesday, approx 30-35 hrs/ week
