Overview of the Position:

The Director of Clinical Enrollment is responsible for the overall quality of the enrollment experience for candidates seeking to enroll in the following programs: Nursing, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and Surgical Technician from all segments including new adult learners and high school students, international applicants, international medical graduates, Corporate Partner/Union applicants, current students progressing from Allied Health Sciences, and students seeking readmission to Monroe University.

The Director endeavors to fill all the available spots with the most highly qualified candidates. He or she ensures that all prospective students, applicants, and candidates receive clear, accurate and timely communication throughout the process. Those who meet the academic standards and who satisfy all the enrollment requirements move through each phase of the process efficiently. The Director is also responsible for communicating with applicants who do not meet the requirements and provides clear guidance on available options.

Core Responsibilities:

· Ensures that all requirements are clearly articulated in the Catalog, on the website and in all collateral materials

· Regularly tracks available seats in each clinical program over a three-year period

· Facilitates information sessions, webinars, and next-steps sessions in collaboration with the Admissions and Student Services

· Ensures that candidates move through the financial aid process in a timely manner

· Serves as the primary point of contact for qualified applicants to ensure they sit for required entrance/placements exams, provide all the required academic and medical documentation, and submit to background checks in a timely manner

· Ensures compliance with all University, school, program, accreditor, and New York State standards and requirements throughout the enrollment process

· Collaborates with the transcript evaluation team to ensure that official transcripts are received and evaluated in a timely manner prior to student acceptance

· Ensures accurate and timely data entry into Slate on each prospective student inquiry to application to acceptance and authorization

· Arranges for students to sit for a program-based interview when required, and serves as the primary point of contact before and after the interview

· Collaborates with the appropriate Student Affairs personnel and School Deans/Program Directors to ensure that students understand the academic sequencing in the programs, estimated completion date, time commitments, physical and technical requirements, and clinical requirements

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred

· 7-10 years of experience in a higher education setting related to one or more of the following: admissions, student affairs, academics

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
