About Us

St. Roch Fine Oysters + Bar, located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, offers a fresh take on New Orleans cuisine crafted by James Beard Nominated Chef Sunny Gerhart. Inspired by family and rooted in flavor, we are committed to perfecting our craft daily, creating delicious handmade food and cocktails complemented by thoughtful and hospitable service.

Our menu is inspired by New Orleans' vibrant West African, Caribbean, and Vietnamese communities, as well as Spanish, Italian, and French traditions. As a scratch kitchen, we celebrate food through a New Orleans and North Carolina lens, incorporating whole animal butchery and house-made pasta and sausages. We emphasize local, seasonal vegetables, seafood, and meats, along with carefully curated cocktail and wine menus.

Responsibilities:

* Demonstrate core knowledge in crafting cocktails.

* Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.

* Accurately and efficiently take food and drink orders.

* Serve food and beverages promptly.

* Ensure guest satisfaction through excellent customer service.

* Handle cash transactions and process payments.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar and dining area.

* Collaborate with teammates and kitchen staff for smooth service.

Experience:

* 3 years minimum experience in hospitality, catering, or food service is preferred.

* Knowledge of basic math for cash handling.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Familiarity with restaurant operations and food handling procedures is a plus.
