Full Job Description

Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing and engineering solutions, is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer - Plating & Manufacturing to join their team. As a Technical Lead Engineer - Plating & Manufacturing, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations and process improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Technical Lead Engineer - Plating & Manufacturing

Location:Palo Alto, California

Pay Range:$160,000 - $220,000

What's the Job?

Lead and manage a team of technicians and operators in a fast-paced production environment to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met.
Oversee electroplating operations, troubleshoot bath chemistry, equipment, and process issues to maintain optimal performance.
Apply practical knowledge of machining and part handling to enhance workflow and product quality.
Identify inefficiencies on the shop floor and implement hands-on process improvements to increase throughput and reduce rework.
Ensure compliance with safety practices, environmental regulations, and quality standards through regular inspections and corrective actions.

What's Needed?

7+ years of hands-on experience in plating, machining, or manufacturing environments.
Strong working knowledge of electroplating processes and shop operations.
Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role managing production teams.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment, processes, and quality issues in real time.
Deep understanding of plating workflows, process controls, and safety standards.
