Senior Account Manager (B2B Sales)

Location: Chino, CA (On-Site)
Travel: Approximately 50%
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join a growing team focused on developing and expanding strategic B2B customer relationships. This is a high-impact sales role responsible for managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving long-term revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional who enjoys building lasting customer relationships, developing strategic account plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow strategic B2B customer accounts
Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements
Develop account growth strategies to achieve sales objectives
Analyze customer trends, market activity, and sales opportunities
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales pipeline
Collaborate with Accounting, Logistics, Operations, Quality, and other internal teams to support customer success
Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
Meet and exceed sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service
Mentor and support junior sales team members as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of outside B2B sales experience
Experience in the specialty ingredient industry strongly preferred (food ingredients, nutraceuticals, personal care, pharmaceutical, or related specialty chemicals)
Proven track record of developing and growing customer accounts
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Experience managing multiple accounts and sales opportunities simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
Bachelor's degree preferred
Willingness to travel approximately 50%
