Full Job Description

As the most senior leader for Naisnow in the U.S. market, the Country Managing Director is fully accountable for the brand's strategic execution and day-to-day operations in the region. The core mission is to drive Naisnow's successful market entry (from 0 to 1) and subsequent scalable expansion across the United States. This role holds end-to-end responsibility for three key pillars—People Management (both headquarters functions and store teams), Store Development, and Franchisee Management—ensuring that brand standards and business performance goals are consistently met.

Full P&L Ownership: Assume full accountability for the U.S. market's strategic planning and business performance, serving as the region's highest-ranking decision-maker with end-to-end P&L responsibility.
End-to-End Store Opening Process: Orchestrate the complete franchise store opening lifecycle—coordinating site selection, construction, permitting/licensing, and supply chain readiness—to drive efficient store openings from contract signing to grand opening.
Supply Chain Development & Optimization: Build and continuously enhance the U.S. supply chain infrastructure, covering local sourcing, import logistics, raw materials and equipment procurement, cold chain management, and quality control systems.
Store Development Leadership: Lead franchisee recruitment and relationship management, site selection, and construction oversight, while establishing scalable and repeatable store opening standards and processes.
Operational Excellence: Drive the standardization of store operations across all locations, ensuring consistent product quality, comprehensive training programs, and full compliance with FDA regulations and state/local health codes.
Market Intelligence & Local Insights: Deeply understand the local competitive landscape—monitoring competitor activities, consumer behavior trends, pricing strategies, and the evolving regulatory environment to inform strategic decisions.
Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, lead, and develop the U.S. team across Operations, Development, and Supply Chain functions, fostering a high-performance culture.
Headquarters Collaboration: Maintain close alignment with China headquarters on brand standards, product innovation, supply chain strategies, and overall strategic direction, serving as the primary bridge between the U.S. market and the global executive team.

Qualifications

Industry Experience: 10+ years of experience in the food & beverage, retail, or restaurant chain industry, with proven international/overseas market experience.
P&L Management: Demonstrated full-scope or multi-region P&L management experience at the General Manager, Regional Director, or COO level.
U.S. Market Expertise: Deep familiarity with the U.S. food & beverage market, including supply chain operations, real estate and site development, and regulatory compliance.
Cross-Functional Versatility: A true generalist with well-rounded capabilities across Supply Chain, Store Development, and Operations—not limited to a single functional expertise.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential for effective communication with China headquarters.
Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
Work Authorization: Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. The company may assist with work visas/expatriate assignments for highly qualified candidates.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
