Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Caretaker to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities. In this vital role, you will ensure that the environment remains welcoming, hygienic, and well-maintained for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Your proactive approach and commitment to high standards will contribute significantly to creating a positive and healthy atmosphere across various settings such as retail stores, hotels, educational institutions, hospitals, restaurants, and gyms. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through your diligent care and maintenance efforts.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces across designated areas
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common spaces to meet health and safety standards
Ensure trash is regularly collected and properly disposed of or recycled
Monitor facility conditions daily to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly
Follow established cleaning procedures tailored to specific environments such as hospitals or restaurants to ensure compliance with industry regulations
Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials as needed
Support setup and breakdown for events or activities within the facility when required

Experience

Prior retail store cleaning experience is highly desirable
Experience in hotel or hospitality cleaning roles is a plus
Familiarity with cleaning procedures in educational institutions or healthcare settings such as hospitals enhances your suitability
Previous work in restaurant or gym environments demonstrates versatility in cleaning techniques
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards are essential for success in this role
