Full Job Description

Position Overview

Park Slope Center for Mental Health, a licensed Article 31 outpatient mental health clinic, is seeking an experienced clinician to perform clinical oversight with regulatory excellence. The QA Reviewer will be a practicing clinical leader, not just an administrator, responsible for upholding the highest standards of care for a diverse patient population while ensuring full compliance with NYS OMH requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement (QA/QI) activities in accordance with NYS OMH Article 31 regulations

Conduct clinical record reviews, audits, and monitoring to evaluate documentation integrity, treatment planning quality, and clinical outcomes

Develop, implement, and evaluate QA policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives

Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits, including OMH site reviews and accreditation surveys

Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans

Provide training and guidance to clinical staff on documentation standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices

Support credentialing, incident reporting, and risk management processes

Provide clinical supervision to clinicians weekly

Minimum Qualifications

Current New York State LCSW licensure required

Prior experience in quality assurance, compliance, or a supervisory role strongly preferred

Working knowledge of NYS OMH Article 31 regulations and documentation standards

Strong clinical judgment, analytical, organizational, and written communication skills

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
