Licensed or Licensed-Eligible Assessor (In-Person and Virtual)
Team LLC

Team LLC is a behavioral health agency committed to providing high-quality, community-based mental health services. We are seeking Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LMHP, LMHP-R, LMHP-S, LMHP-RP) to perform clinical intake assessments for Mental Health Skill-Building, Intensive In-Home (IIH), and Crisis Stabilization services on a PRN/contract basis.

Position Overview:
The assessor will conduct comprehensive clinical intakes to determine eligibility for behavioral health services. Assessments may be conducted in-person or via Telehealth, depending on the program requirements.

In-person assessments are required for Mental Health Skill-Building and IIH services.
Telehealth assessments may be conducted for Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) and Crisis Stabilization services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough clinical intake assessments using DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
Complete all required documentation, including intake summaries, authorization requests, and treatment recommendations, in accordance with Medicaid and agency standards.
Determine service eligibility and appropriate level of care based on clinical presentation.
Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure smooth service transition and client engagement.
Be available to complete assessments for crisis services on short notice, when needed.

Qualifications:

Must hold or be eligible for licensure by the Virginia Board of Counseling, Board of Social Work, or Board of Psychology (LMHP, LMHP-R, LMHP-S, LMHP-RP).
Strong knowledge of Mental Health Skill-Building and Crisis Stabilization eligibility criteria.
Experience conducting clinical assessments and writing treatment recommendations preferred.
Strong organizational, clinical, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation:

Contract position — competitive per-assessment rate based on experience and service type.
Both (in-person and Telehealth availability).
Supervision of MCR, Community Stabilization, MHSB and IIH
