Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Busser / Dish Washer, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our restaurant running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are spotless and ready for use. Your proactive approach will support our food service operations, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This paid position offers a lively work environment where teamwork and communication are key to success.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper sanitation procedures
Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware promptly and efficiently
Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots or bulk supplies following safe lifting practices
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and storage areas to meet sanitation standards
Support food service staff by organizing clean dishes and assisting with basic table setting when needed
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any issues promptly
Follow all health and safety regulations related to sanitation, food safety, and manual handling

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety standards is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care
Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team
Basic understanding of restaurant operations such as serving, bussing, and table setting is advantageous
Reliable with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks efficiently
