Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Team Member, Cook, or Prep Specialist! In this vital role, you'll be the heartbeat of our food service operation, ensuring that every dish is prepared with precision, safety, and passion. Whether you're slicing vegetables, cooking flavorful meals, or assisting with menu planning, your contributions will directly impact the dining experience of our valued guests. This position offers an energetic environment where your culinary skills and dedication to food safety shine.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking a variety of menu items following established recipes and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold food safety management protocols
Support meal preparation for catering events or daily service, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes
Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, and cooking appliances
Serve food to guests or staff in accordance with service standards while maintaining hygiene standards
Adhere to safety standards in production to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly preferred
Demonstrated culinary experience with skills in food preparation, cooking, and food industry practices
Strong knife skills and slicing techniques to prepare ingredients efficiently and safely
Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures to maintain high-quality hygiene practices
Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is a plus
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving others and supporting kitchen operations
