The Regional Trainer position is responsible for providing clinical training and post-training support to all new hires that come into the region. This support will be provided via in-person training, role play, and live session support. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, inclusive, connected environment where new hires have the safe space to learn and grow. The Regional Trainer is also responsible for providing 1:1, in-person direct service for clients assigned to them. The Regional Trainer is a key ambassador of the organization’s values and culture.

What You’ll Do

Train & Mentor New Hires – Lead engaging in-person trainings (BST 5), role plays, and field support sessions to ensure BTs are confident and prepared
Support Ongoing Development – Provide live session coaching, administer competency tests, and ensure each new hire receives multiple field support visits during their first 90 days
Coach & Guide Field Trainers – Assign, mentor, and evaluate Field Trainers to ensure consistent, high-quality support for BTs
Provide Direct Client Care – Deliver 1:1 or group therapy sessions, collect accurate data, and model clinical excellence in real-world settings
Ensure Safety & Support – Act as a safety monitor in both clinic and home settings, assist with incident reports, and provide coverage during staff breaks
Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with regional Directors, Clinic Operations Managers, and Training Managers to align training goals and provide wrap-around support
Handle Administrative & Operational Tasks – Schedule visits and evaluations, track competencies, support hiring events, and contribute to regional initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Required: RBT certification (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of experience as a Behavior Technician
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field; BCBA certification in progress - not required to be qualified for this role though!
Skilled trainer who can present clearly, coach effectively, and model best practices in the field
Strong communicator with the ability to have supportive but direct coaching conversations
Proficient with technology (Teams, Central Reach) and detail-oriented with scheduling and documentation
Flexible and professional, with reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the region
