Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Mandarin Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth operation of inbound and outbound by providing essential warehouse support. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job duties

1. Warehouse Logistics & Temp Labor Coordination:

Coordinate and schedule all inbound deliveries with vendors and carriers, and outbound shipments with dispatch teams.
Plan daily labor needs; assign tasks to temporary associates and warehouse staff for receiving, picking, and packing.
Serve as the primary point of contact for temp agency representatives and warehouse leads.
Track temp worker attendance, hours, and performance, providing reports to management.
Monitor all shipments in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies.

2. Corporate HR & Administrative Support:

Assist onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, with a focus on temp-to-hire transitions.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and files.
Support HR with the administration of company programs and policies.
Handle general office administrative duties, including correspondence, supply ordering, and facility maintenance coordination.

Experience

Previous experience working in warehouse is preferred but not required. Experience in HR is a strong plus.
Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with various computer software applications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Mandarin speaker preferred.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changing office needs.
