Busy Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician Practice

Clearwater, Florida

Our well-established Pulmonary & Critical Care physician practice is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to lead all aspects of our Revenue Cycle operations. This key leadership position is responsible for maximizing reimbursement, improving cash flow, reducing denials, and ensuring the financial integrity of the practice.

The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare revenue cycle professional with a strong background in physician practice billing, coding, payer reimbursement, analytics, and staff leadership.

Responsibilities

Direct all Revenue Cycle operations from patient registration through final payment.
Supervise billing, coding, payment posting, accounts receivable, collections, and prior authorization staff.
Develop and monitor key revenue cycle performance indicators.
Reduce denials and improve clean claim performance.
Monitor payer reimbursement and resolve payment variances.
Analyze financial trends and identify revenue enhancement opportunities.
Collaborate with physicians, Practice Administration, Managed Care, and Finance.
Develop policies, procedures, and staff education.
Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
Lead continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
Five or more years of physician practice revenue cycle leadership.
Multi-specialty or specialty physician practice experience strongly preferred.
Experience supervising billing staff.
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, Medicare, commercial insurance, and physician reimbursement.
Experience with practice management systems and data analytics.
CPC, CPB, CRCR, HFMA, or similar certification preferred.
