Overview

✨We are looking for a Responsible Receptionist to manage nail salon on a daily basis. ✨As a Receptionist, you will be the first and last point of contact for our business. ✨Duties includes: Schedule appointments, take payments, assign customer to nail technician, and take phone calls.

✨You will greet customers who visit the business, confirm their appointment, and ask them to check in . Meanwhile maintaining a positive, professional, and friendly manner.

✨ Daily cleaning of salon & end of closing tasks

✨Experienced working in a fast paced environment is highly needed. You should be able to deal with rush hour in a timely and effective manner, while overseeing clients and staffs. ✨Multitasking and customers skills are essential for this position.

✨This role require weekends and before the holidays rush; flexibility is a plus. Must be available to work a 5-8 hours per shift.

✨Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all tasks to the highest quality standards.

✨This is a full time/part time position. Weekend is needed.

Experience with this role has a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome clients as soon as they arrive
Direct clients to the appropriate nail technician for service(s)
Answer incoming phone calls/texts
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, nail polish sample books, and brochures).
Maintain business security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the receptionist desk (cash drawer)
Take payments
Schedule appointments via phone calls, text messages, or in-person

Skills

Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Customer service individual.
Hands-on experience with scheduling via Point of Sale System.
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills***
Customer service skills
Honest and trustworthy
Outgoing and Positive
Responsible

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
