Full Job Description

Singleton, Clark & Company - Certified Public Accountants is currently seeking an Office / Audit Assistant (Audit Coordinator) to join our firm. This position will provide a wide range of administrative support services to ensure the smooth operation of our office as well as provide back-office audit support to our audit staff.

Office duties will include mail processing, document scanning, processing of bill payments, credit card receipts and expense reports, client billing, deposits of client payments, report printing and binding, creation and mailing of proposals, booking travel and other day to day tasks as necessary.

Audit accounting assistance responsibilities will include preparing audit documents, spreadsheets and letters for our field auditors, performing data entry and audit-related testing, writing and reviewing audit reports and additional audit tasks as needed for our audits of Texas school districts, cities, counties, and other governmental entities. Comprehensive training will be provided to help you master our audit procedures.

This Office / Audit Assistant position is performed at our office in Cedar Park.

Becoming involved in public accounting, and specifically financial auditing, is a great way to start your career or to fast track it to success and higher compensation levels. The exposure you receive in public accounting to various organizations, individuals, and financial processes is priceless. The environment is both challenging and rewarding, and in this office/audit support role you will learn and practice both administrative and accounting skills.

1-5 years of experience of administrative experience
Demonstration of prior self-motivation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional analytical skills
High degree of professionalism
Ability to confidently interact with staff as well as clients
Ability to self-manage to achieve deadlines for assignments
Strong critical thinker, able to understand accounting and analytical concepts, and apply skills to non-standard situations.
Availability during regular business hours, 8 am to 5 pm.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to keep track of and prioritize assigned tasks.

Performance reviews conducted annually with pay increases considered.
