BARTENDER

We've built a reputation for elevated American comfort fare, a constantly evolving cocktail program, and a guest experience that keeps our regulars coming back for more. We're looking for a bartender with serious craft, a genuine love for hospitality, and the energy to keep our bar buzzing on our busiest nights.

Position Summary

As our Bartender, you'll be the heartbeat of the bar, crafting standout cocktails, pouring great beer and wine, and delivering fast, friendly service that keeps the energy high and the guests happy. You'll bring your skills, your personality, and your passion for hospitality to every shift.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to restaurant recipes and standards.
Greet guests warmly and professionally, and offer beverage and pairing recommendations.
Check guest identification and comply with all state and local laws regarding responsible alcohol service.
Accurately process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service.
Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, escalating to a manager when necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Prior bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar preferred.
Knowledge of cocktail techniques, wine, and beer.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must complete California ABC RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification within 60 days of hire, as required by California law. Training and exam costs are covered by the company.
Must obtain a California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire. Training costs are covered by the company.
Must complete company-provided sexual harassment prevention training within 6 months of hire, as required by California law.
