Job Overview

As the heart of our establishment, in this position you will assist with daily operations, lead the inventory team, make smoothies, salads and sandwiches, ensure food quality and safety, and maintain a welcoming environment for all guests. Your hard work and stellar positive attitude will drive the success of our café by working well with others and upholding high standards of hospitality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine culinary passion with a fun atmosphere to join a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities

Cooking, cleaning, and smiling in a fun, daily café operation, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
Coffee and food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards and customer expectations
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and sales processing
Monitor and maintain kitchen and food service workflows to optimize efficiency and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests

Experience

Some experience in a quick-service or fast-food restaurant environment with supervisory responsibilities is a bonus
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within casual dining or fine dining settings
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling expertise required
Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance
Prior experience in restaurant operations in hospitality or food industry settings such as hotel or catering services is highly desirable
Knowledge of kitchen management, food production processes, and culinary techniques to ensure quality standards are met
