Cultivation Technician 1 – Entry Level - No Experience Required

Pay Range:

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour

We are a state-of-the-art indoor cultivation facility in Redding, CA. We compete with the premier indoor cultivation facilities across the state to produce true top shelf boutique flower. We are a small company where comradery and team environment are extremely important.

Job position description:

You do not need any previous industry experience. You must be able to pass an FBI and DOJ background check (per state code). We follow compliance regulations and require all employees do as well.

We’re looking for a full-time entry-level cultivation technician. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate looking to be a part of a team striving to produce the best flower in the world. Attention to detail, passion, internal drive and effort are required to be a part of the team. An attitude of “punching the clock” or doing the minimum to get by will not fit our culture. We create products of which we are proud, and will be seeking both statewide and eventually worldwide awards and recognition. If you possess extreme motivation to be apart of a winning team we are interested in you.

The job will train you on, and you will be a part of every aspect of; cultivation, harvesting, trimming and systems management. You will also be required to spearhead clean-up duties such as sweeping, moping, trash, etc.

Minimum Job Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older
English verbal and written communication skills
Reliable transportation to and from work

Employee Conduct:

Employees are required to adhere to scheduled start/end times with no to minimal variances
Employees are required to maintain high standards of facility cleanliness
Employees are required to follow the exact standard operating procedures set by management
Work well in a team environment or individually as needed
Employees are required to follow all local, state and company compliance regulations
Employees are required to follow company policies including but not limited to the company handbook

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative but not all encompassing of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employees must at a minimum, but not limited to have the ability to:

Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product or equipment
Use scissors, clippers, trimmers for long periods of time
Extensive walking throughout expansive warehouse environment
Standing for long periods of time
Ability to lift 40lbs and carry a distance of over one hundred feet
This is a labor-intensive farming production position
Must not be allergic to cannabis

Expected hours of work:

This position is full-time, part-time or on-call, depending on employee
Weekend and holidays may be expected
