JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative (Temp to Hire)

Location: Tanqueray Ct.

Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Director of Customer Service

Position summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering excellent customer support while ensuring accurate and timely order entry and processing. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email and plays a critical role in maintaining smooth order flow and operational efficiency.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Answer and manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system in a professional and timely manner
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate product, pricing, and order information
Perform daily order entry, including entering, reviewing, and verifying customer orders for accuracy
Process order changes, cancellations, and updates while ensuring all system information is correct
Coordinate with internal teams (production, shipping, quality, etc.) to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, or issues
Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and order activity
Support administrative and operational tasks as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift or move items weighing up to 20 pounds
Ability to maintain visual focus and read information on computer screens and printed documents for extended periods

Work environment:
