Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Processing Specialist to support data entry, record maintenance, and administrative data processing in a fully remote environment. The successful candidate will enter, review, update, and organize information across company systems while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting established deadlines.

Responsibilities

Enter, update, review, and verify information in company databases and business systems.
Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure information is complete and up to date.
Use Microsoft Excel and other business software to organize and maintain data.
Create and update spreadsheets, including sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and data organization.
Review information for errors, inconsistencies, or missing data and make appropriate corrections.
Process information received from internal teams, customers, vendors, or other authorized sources.
Assist with order entry, data transcription, document processing, and electronic filing.
Maintain organized digital records and follow established document-management procedures.
Handle confidential company and customer information in accordance with company policies.
Perform basic calculations and prepare routine reports or data summaries when required.
Communicate with team members to resolve missing or inaccurate information.
Complete assigned data-processing tasks accurately and within established deadlines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in data entry, data processing, administrative support, clerical work, or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data-entry errors.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets, and web-based business applications.
Accurate typing and data-entry skills.
Ability to organize information and manage multiple assignments.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business or customer information.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Remote Work Requirements

This is a fully remote position. The employee will perform all regular job duties remotely and will communicate with the team through approved phone, email, and online collaboration tools.

Candidates should have:

A reliable internet connection.
A suitable workspace for performing job duties.
A computer capable of running required business applications.
The ability to communicate with the team during scheduled working hours.

Compensation

$20–$31 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Specific working hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
