Full Job Description

Shane Smith Law fights for injured people across North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina. Communication is a core value here, not a talking point. Our clients should never have to wonder what's happening with their case, and that's where you come in.

This role is proactive, not reactive. You'll be the one picking up the phone, calling clients with updates, checking in on their case, and reaching out to our team to get the answers clients are waiting on. You're comfortable making dozens of calls a shift because you genuinely like talking to people, and you know how to turn "just checking in" into a call that actually reassures someone. You've worked remotely before and know the difference between logged in and actually present. Nobody has to check on you, because you have already checked on yourself.

Part-Time | $15/hr | Remote | Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina

Positions Hours: Sunday - Thursday 3pm EST - 8pm EST or Tuesday - Saturday 3pm EST - 8pm EST

Training Hours: Monday - Thursday at 3pm EST | Tuesday - Friday at 3pm EST

What You'll Do

Proactively call clients to give case updates, no waiting for them to reach out first
Reach out to our internal team to track down answers and get clients real information
Answer client calls after hours and make them feel like a priority, not an interruption
Stay calm and steady with clients who are frustrated, upset, or scared
Follow up consistently so no client is left wondering where things stand
Advocate for the client's interests inside the firm, every time

What You Bring

You genuinely love talking to people, and you're comfortable being the one who picks up the phone first
Proven remote work experience with the discipline to manage your own time and stay accountable without supervision
A fast learner who picks up new systems and processes without needing to be told twice
Warmth and patience with people who are having a hard day, you know how to de-escalate without sounding scripted
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable when priorities shift fast
