Full Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Program Manager will be responsible for supervising, training and leading a team of JAG Specialists, ensuring that their programs are successfully implemented with fidelity and achieve desired program outcomes. Reporting to the State Director of Programs (or the Assistant State Director), Program Managers must monitor their programs, identify and proactively resolve any deficiencies or gaps, create collaborative and effective relationships with school administrations, school staff, analyze, problem-solve, communicate effectively with other members of the JAG team, and work with a high level of proactivity and vigor to provide the best JAG experience to all students. The Program Manager may be asked to substitute when there is a vacancy at one of the assigned schools.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ensures assigned Specialists achieve fidelity to JAG model standards through regular announced and unannounced site visits, classroom observations, evaluative feedback, problem-solving discussions with school administrators, and ongoing communication with JAG supervisors and team members.

· Utilizes the JAG 6 of 6, model services, follow-up monitoring, and other model components to ensure full program delivery across all assigned JAG programs; advocates for the program and enhances visibility through participation in public relations activities, meetings, community presentations, and legislative engagement as appropriate.

· Ensures all documentation, compliance, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time by JAG Nevada Specialists.

· Plans, leads, and evaluates one or more regional or statewide JAG Nevada events, projects, or initiatives annually; collaborates with supervisors to identify key performance indicators (KPIs); monitors progress; proactively identifies challenges; and implements timely solutions to ensure successful outcomes.

· Assists with the interviewing, selection, onboarding, training, coaching, and technical assistance of assigned JAG Nevada Specialists to support program fidelity and goal attainment; models best practices in classroom instruction, youth engagement, and career readiness programming.

· Plans and facilitates monthly team meetings to support communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

· Serves as an active member of the JAG Nevada Management Team and acts as a liaison between JAG Nevada, school administrators, district leadership, and community partners.

· Analyzes program data and outcomes to inform coaching strategies, resource allocation, and continuous improvement efforts; ensures progress toward enrollment, graduation, placement, and follow-up benchmarks.

· Identifies programmatic, operational, or compliance risks; proactively escalates concerns to leadership; and supports corrective action planning when programs fall out of fidelity.

· Occasional evening and weekend work, intrastate travel, and substitution coverage at assigned schools may be required to support JAG programs and activities.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLS & ABILITIES

Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a Nevada State Substitute License or JAG endorsement.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while also functioning as a collaborative, team-oriented leader.

Strong adaptability, resilience, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn continuously and navigate changing conditions effectively.

Proven ability to mentor, coach, manage, and provide technical assistance to staff.

Advanced organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Sound judgment, discretion, professionalism, and diplomacy in handling sensitive matters.

Advanced written communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret information, write clearly and informatively, and edit for accuracy, grammar, and clarity.

Advanced verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to speak clearly and persuasively, listen actively, respond effectively to questions, and participate in meetings.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.

Ability to fully embrace, embody, and uphold the organization’s Mission and Vision while fostering strong collaborative relationships internally and externally to elevate services to students.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Work environment is indoors and climate controlled. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

· Moderate noise levels as found in a business office with computer printers, households with TVs and dishwashers, and driving light traffic.

Pay: $56,966.00 per year
