Job Overview

Napoletana in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, forward-thinking Restaurant Manager who wants to further their career and be part of a growing hospitality company.

Restaurant Manager will be responsible for directing, implementing, and maintaining a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff. In addition to daily responsibilities outlined under essential duties and responsibilities, the Restaurant Manager will assist the restaurant in all disciplines of hiring staff, training initiatives, updating menus, and maintaining budgeted expenses established by Tuscan Brands while also ensuring an efficient operational flow from the front of house. They will promote the Brand by adhering to our standards of quality assurance and guest service. The Restaurant Manager must serve as an exemplary figure to coworkers and represent the organization within the framework of its core values.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Manage and support FOH and BOH teams.
Hire, train, schedule, and develop staff.
Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Monitor inventory, control costs, and ensure profitability.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with company policies and health regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant management experience.
Proven experience in both FOH and BOH operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with a focus on food service operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a positive work environment.
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and kitchen management.
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing.
Excellent customer service skills with an ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Experience in managing budgets, conducting staff training & development, and performing shift management.
Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced casual dining or fine dining settings while maintaining attention to detail.
