Bilingual General Office Assistant (Fresh Flower Distribution)

Location: Franklin Park, IL (100% In-Person)
Job Type: Full-Time, Day Shift (Monday – Friday)
Compensation: Competitive pay, based on experience (Bi-weekly pay schedule)

Everflora is a fast-paced fresh flower distribution hub. We are a fun, casual team of hard-working, customer-driven individuals who love to laugh, grow, and be helpful every day. Because we handle highly perishable, fresh-cut flowers, our environment is time-sensitive and energetic.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative General Office & Marketing Assistant to support daily office operations and also edit and/or create engaging marketing and promotional materials. This role is ideal for a versatile and creative individual who enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with graphic design projects, and has strong organizational and communication skills.

Schedule & Requirements

Language: Must be fully bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken).
Hours: Monday through Friday day shift. Overtime is required as needed.
Holiday Rule: Overtime and weekend work are mandatory during peak floral holidays (e.g., Valentine's Day, Mother's Day).

Core Responsibilities

Operational Support: Execute daily operations and assist in various office responsibilities, across all departments, to streamline daily workflows.
Financial Tracking & Data Entry: Pull requisitions, create purchase orders, reconcile vendor invoices/delivery charges, and enter data into software.
Logistics Admin: Coordinate carrier shipments (like FedEx) and handle digital/physical records management.
Inventory & Order Entry: Input customer orders, print receiving reports, and create product/UPC labels.
Graphic Design, Marketing & Visuals: Design, print, and laminate visually appealing and unique flyers, promotional materials, price lists, signage and content. Organize, maintain and update digital design files, templates and marketing assets.
Customer Support: Answer phones and draft professional email correspondence to local/international vendors and customers in both English and Spanish.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: 2 to 3 years experience in an administrative, creative marketing support or similar role, including data entry, basic bookkeeping, shipping coordination, or general office administration.
Software Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.
Proficiency in Canva (preferred) and Adobe Photoshop for creating marketing material is required.
Industry Software: Ability to quickly learn industry specific software required.
Pace: Proven ability to multi-task with high attention to detail and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
