About Us

DC Construction Associates of Central Florida LLC was established in 2019 as an expansion of DC Construction Associates, Inc., a commercial general contractor founded in 2005. Serving clients throughout Central Florida and Georgia.

Our portfolio includes self-storage facilities, retail and restaurant projects, commercial interiors, healthcare facilities, office buildings, and industrial developments. Backed by more than 20 years of industry experience, we are committed to delivering high-quality projects, building strong client relationships, and exceeding expectations on every job.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Ground Up Construction Superintendent a minimum of 10 years of commercial ground-up construction experience, specifically in CMU (concrete masonry unit) construction. Experience with multi-story commercial projects is required, and tilt-wall construction experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can independently manage field operations, anticipate and resolve challenges, and maintain a safe, efficient, and productive jobsite.

This role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules and resources, overseeing quality and safety, and maintaining clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and the Project Management team throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule project activities.
Manage projects from a field perspective.
Read and interpret shop drawings, plans, and submittals.
Identify and communicate design deficiencies and conflicts.
Track project schedules and progress.
Manage production and maintain productivity.
Prepare and update 3-week look-ahead schedules for the Project Manager.
Ensure quality control standards are met.
Enforce safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
Oversee project closeout.
Conduct inspections
Coordinating and directing subcontractors.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of commercial ground-up construction experience required.
Extensive experience managing CMU (concrete masonry unit) commercial construction projects required.
Tilt-wall construction experience is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Fieldwire, and/or similar construction software.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
Ability to ensure quality control on all work performed.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Experience with multi-story commercial ground-up construction.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
