Full Job Description

This is a full-time role for a Non-Licensed Therapist (AMFT or APCC). This is an in-person job during normal business hours during weekdays (we are closed evenings and weekends). This position starts 1 day a week and will grow to 5 days per week as your caseload grows. The Therapist will be responsible for providing therapy services primarily to individual adults and occasionally couples and families. The therapist will utilizing evidence-based treatments and interventions. They will monitor client progress, collaborate with other healthcare providers as necessary, and maintain accurate and timely client documentation. The practice focus is to help adults recover from traumatic events and experiences from the past using EMDR therapy.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field.
Pre-licensed therapist (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) in California must be registered with the state and have your associate number.
Must have their first associate number (subsequent associate numbers are prohibited from working in a private practice like TTC).
Experience providing individual therapy (couples and family therapy also if this is an area of interest/competence)
Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for treating trauma, complex trauma, and PTSD.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Must follow the guidance and direction of the supervising therapist
Ability to complete assessments,and documentation in a timely manner (within 24 hours of appointment) and mandated reports (as soon as reasonably possible).
Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of standard ethical practices.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred.
Ability to use a keyboard and type (without looking)

PAY

Pay is $25 an hour for non clinical hours (all non-therapy hours) and $40 per therapy hour for non-licensed staff.
