IT Field Technician

The Role
Right Click is seeking an experienced IT Field Technician to serve as a higher-level technical resource and escalation point for clients. This role requires strong mid-level technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 and 3 support including advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ownership of problem tickets
Support and administer RMM, PSA, documentation, security, backup, password vault, and endpoint protection tools in a multi-client MSP environment
Manage identity, endpoint, email, and network security, including phishing response, account compromise investigations, and incident escalation
Support Microsoft 365 in multi-tenant environments including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, MFA, Conditional Access, and audit logs
Provide Windows endpoint and server support including Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity concepts
Perform networking support and troubleshooting including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks across Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, and Aruba environments
Support virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
Follow formal change management processes including risk assessment, implementation planning, rollback procedures, and documentation
Provide foundational support for VoIP and unified communications platforms such as Teams, Zoom, and RingCentral

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of technical experience
Minimum 2 years in an MSP environment
Strong troubleshooting and client service skills
Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Active Directory, networking, and VoIP
Microsoft certifications strongly preferred

Soft Skills

Positive, proactive, and action-oriented
Calm under pressure and adaptable to change
Strong problem-solving and customer-focused mindset

Additional Requirements

Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Background check and drug screening required

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $55,000–$65,000, based on experience
