Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and donuts following established recipes and standards
Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, pastry tools, and packaging machines safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
Assist with food handling, portioning, and packaging for high-volume production needs
Uphold food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation protocols and proper storage procedures

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, baking, or pastry arts within a high-volume setting
Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques for cake decorating and pastry making
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures in the food industry
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in product quality
Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with team members
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, including knowledge of metric system, accurately and managing inventory levels
Experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, slicers, and packaging machinery
