Overview

GROWING MORTGAGE SEEKS AN EXPERIENCED Loan Officer Assistant, where your energy and attention to detail will help streamline the lending process and enhance client experiences. In this vital role, you will support loan officers by managing administrative tasks, processing loan applications, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your proactive approach will contribute to the smooth operation of mortgage and commercial lending services, empowering clients to achieve their financial goals with confidence. Responsibilities

Assist loan officers in originating loans by gathering necessary documentation and verifying borrower information
Support the loan processing cycle from application submission through approval, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Utilize financial software and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes
Conduct preliminary credit analysis using industry knowledge of risk assessment, lending standards, and financial regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act)
Maintain clear communication with clients to provide updates on application status and address inquiries promptly
Ensure compliance with FNMA (Fannie Mae), mortgage services standards, and banking regulatory requirements throughout all procedures
Prepare contracts, loan documentation, and servicing files while adhering to industry best practices for financial compliance

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as an LOA working for mortgage broker business.
Strong knowledge of mortgage products, commercial lending, and banking regulations including TILA and FNMA guidelines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and basic math calculations
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
Experience in financial sales or commercial banking is a plus; industry knowledge of financial regulations is highly valued
