Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Child Placing Agency Administrator (LCPAA) to oversee and manage our child welfare programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, leading staff, and maintaining the highest standards of child protective services. This leadership role requires a strong background in social work, child welfare, and adoption processes, with a passion for supporting children and families in need. The LCPAA will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing environment for children while ensuring the agency’s operations align with legal and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the child placing agency, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and regulations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to child protective services, adoption, and foster care.
Lead, supervise, and support staff members working directly with children, families, and community partners.
Coordinate intake assessments, case management, and placement processes for children in need of foster or adoptive homes.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all cases in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with social workers, healthcare providers, legal professionals, and community organizations to promote child welfare initiatives.
Ensure staff are trained on best practices in working with children with developmental disabilities or special needs.
Advocate for children’s rights and needs within the community and among stakeholders.
Monitor program outcomes to ensure quality service delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Valid licensing as a Child Placing Agency Administrator (LCPAA) or equivalent certification as required by state regulations.
Experience working in child welfare, social work, or related fields such as childcare or working with children with developmental disabilities.
Proven knowledge of child protective services, adoption processes, and foster care systems.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and overseeing program operations.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, families, agencies, and community partners.
Demonstrated commitment to child safety, well-being, and ethical practices in child welfare services.
