Columbia Gorge Surgery Center (CGSC) is the only Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in the Columbia Gorge region, proudly serving patients across North-Central Oregon. Summary

We are seeking a Circulating Nurse (RN) to support our surgical team by ensuring optimal patient care and maintaining a sterile and safe operating environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in perioperative nursing and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records.
Ensure all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment are available and functioning properly.
Assist the surgical team by maintaining a sterile field and adhering to infection control protocols.
Monitor and document patient status intraoperatively.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to ensure smooth case flow.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies.

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
Experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of physiology and acute care nursing practices.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
