Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Event Server and become a vital part of creating memorable experiences for our guests! In this lively role, you'll deliver exceptional food and beverage service at various events, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help elevate our event atmosphere, making each occasion special. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

Duties

Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests during events, including banquets, weddings, corporate functions, and special occasions
Set up and break down serving stations, ensuring all items are prepared and presented according to event standards
Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to maintain quality and safety standards
Engage with guests to provide excellent guest services, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate special requests
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including bussing tables and clearing dishes promptly
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for order processing and payments
Support catering staff with food preparation and setup as needed to ensure seamless service delivery

Experience

Prior food service experience in a restaurant, banquet hall, or hospitality setting preferred
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
Experience with beverage service, including wine knowledge and alcohol regulations
Familiarity with fine dining or hotel service environments is a plus
Strong guest relations skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions and portioning
Previous experience working with POS systems and catering equipment is advantageous
