Production Manager

Location: Tucson, Arizona (On-Site)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and hands-on Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in our Tucson facility. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring operational goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is passionate about team development, continuous improvement, and creating a culture focused on safety, quality, and accountability. Key Responsibilities

Lead daily production activities to meet schedule, quality, and output targets.
Manage supervisors, team leaders, and production associates.
Coordinate labor, materials, and workflow to ensure efficient operations.
Monitor production performance and address issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Support standard work practices, Lean initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Partner with maintenance, quality, planning, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
Train, coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance and engagement.
Support inventory accuracy, material flow, and overall production readiness.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and problem-solving on the production floor.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of manufacturing, operations, or production leadership experience.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of production processes, workplace safety, and quality standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, or similar methodologies preferred.
