Full Job Description

The short version

We sell software to loan officers. Our job is to get the right ones on a demo. Your job is to make that happen every single day.

This is not a pure cold-calling job. Roughly 75% of your day is calling inbound leads, people who already raised their hand and asked to hear from us. The other 25% is cold outbound to build pipeline when the inbound queue is clear.

That is a good deal for you and it comes with a catch. Warm leads go cold fast. The expectation is that you call them in minutes, not hours, and you keep calling until you reach them. If you want a role where the phone rings with real interest on the other end and speed is what separates good from great, keep reading.

Loan officers lose the majority of their past clients to other lenders. Not because they did a bad job, but because they go quiet after closing and someone else shows up first.

myhomeIQ fixes that. We turn a loan officer's past client database into a monthly homeowner intelligence engine: branded home value reports, refinance alerts when rates drop below a client's current rate, and pre-mover scoring that flags who is about to sell before they list. Our homeowner reports run a 72% open rate, against a mortgage industry email average of roughly 7%.

What you will actually do

Book qualified demos. This is the number. Everything else on this list exists to serve it.

Inbound, about 75% of your time

Call every new inbound lead fast. Our Lost Transaction Report is the highest-intent source we have, and those prospects have already seen exactly what they are losing before you dial
Work the queue until you make contact. Most inbound leads are not reached on the first attempt, and the reps who win are the ones who make attempt four
Qualify against real criteria: database size, production volume, tech stack, and whether they actually own their past client relationships
Book the demo on the phone, on the call, before you hang up

Cold outbound, about 25% of your time

Prospect loan officers and branch managers through calls, email sequences, LinkedIn, and text when the inbound queue is clear
Build target lists in the markets and lender segments we want more of

Write the pre-call brief so the AE walks into the demo already knowing the prospect's situation
Live in the CRM. Every touch logged, every sequence enrolled, every disposition accurate

Non-negotiable

Fluent, clear spoken and written English. This role is on the phone with US mortgage professionals all day. Prospects need to understand you the first time, every time, with no repeating and no friction
You are comfortable on the phone with strangers and you do not need to be talked into picking it up
Urgency. Speed is the single biggest lever in this role and we will measure it
Coachable. You take a call review, apply the note on the next dial, and do not get defensive
Organized enough to work a live inbound queue and your outbound list on the same day without dropping follow-ups
Clear, direct writing. Short emails that get replies
Competitive with yourself. You track your own numbers before anyone asks for them

Helpful, not required

Prior SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience in B2B SaaS
Any exposure to mortgage, real estate, title, or fintech
Experience with GoHighLevel, Close, Salesforce, HubSpot, or a comparable CRM
You have worked a defined sales methodology and can name it
