Full Job Description

Overview

This isn't a desk job, it's a theater-level logistics leadership role at the heart of Indo-Pacific readiness. You'll plan and synchronize multinational air, land, and sea sustainment across US PACOM, working alongside six core MCC-E Pacific partner nations and a constellation of key regional allies. Your decisions shape how forces move, sustain, and fight across one of the most complex operational environments on earth. THE MISSION

K2 is looking for a Logistics Planner to serve as a lead planner within MCCP — coordinating multinational lift, distribution, and sustainment across the US PACOM area of responsibility. You'll synchronize coalition logistics across partner nations including Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, while engaging key regional partners like Japan, South Korea, India, the Philippines, and others. You'll support a virtual fusion center, a combined joint airlift and aerial refueling network, and the broader Regional Sustainment Framework in contested, distributed environments. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and is located at Camp Smith, Honolulu, HI.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead theater-level sustainment and distribution planning across US PACOM
Develop long-range sustainment plans aligned to operational goals and PPBES requirements
Advise senior leaders on sustainment posture, risks, and priorities
Coordinate multinational lift, aerial refueling, sealift, and ground movement capacity
Optimize use of partner nation and European airlift assets in Pacific operations
Manage movement control and logistics support for operations, training, and exercises
Integrate sustainment efforts across four service components into a joint framework
Work with operational planners, logistics commands, maintenance teams, and supporting agencies
Strengthen logistics relationships with partner nations and improve interoperability
Coordinate with USTRANSCOM, NATO MCCE, and other logistics stakeholders
Support a secure virtual fusion center to prioritize and track multinational requirements
Improve information sharing, common operating picture, and decision support
Advance co-sustainment concepts, including forward-positioned MRO capabilities
Support exercise planning, training, validation, and certification of multinational mobility networks
Track sustainment metrics, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements
Manage sustainment section structure, workload, and staffing alignment
Ensure plans and execution comply with U.S. and international law, policy, and command guidance
Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, transportation, public administration, military studies, or a related field
8+ years of relevant logistics, sustainment, transportation, mobility, or supply chain experience
3+ years of experience in multinational, coalition, joint, government, defense, or complex international commercial logistics
Experience planning and executing movement, distribution, or sustainment operations across multiple countries or regions
Experience supporting senior leaders and producing briefings, plans, risk assessments, and decision papers
Experience with logistics systems, transportation tools, ERP platforms, secure collaboration tools, or data analytics
Professional fluency in English
Strong ability to coordinate across cultures, institutions, and national authorities
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work across time zones and under tight deadlines
Sound judgment, adaptability, and cross-functional leadership
Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and relationship management
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
Ability to travel internationally and work in secure, distributed, or high-tempo environments
Ability to work extended, weekend, or irregular hours during exercise planning and execution periods, or when required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, military studies, public administration, or a related field
10+ years of relevant logistics, sustainment, transportation, mobility, or supply chain experience
Theater- or command-level experience in multinational, coalition, joint, government, defense, or complex international commercial logistics
Experience with PPBES, operational planning, movement control, exercise support, or force posture planning
Experience with co-sustainment, contested logistics, distributed operations, or forward-positioned MRO
Experience working with interagency, host-nation, contractor, or commercial logistics partners
APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD certification
PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or CPSM certification
CILT or similar logistics certification
JPME I or II, or equivalent PME
Service command and staff education, or equivalent training in multinational planning, coalition operations, defense logistics, or strategic mobility
Training in PPBES, operational planning, movement control, or command and control
Additional language fluency such as French, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, or Vietnamese
