Store Manager

A growing wholesale distribution company is seeking a hands-on Store Manager to lead the daily operations of one of its contractor-focused branch locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse and sales environment, enjoys developing people, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.The Store Manager will be responsible for leading a knowledgeable branch team, improving operational execution, maintaining strong inventory and warehouse standards, and helping drive sales growth. We are looking for a high-energy leader who is organized, accountable, and comfortable balancing people management, customer service, logistics, and branch performance.This person should lead from the front — coaching employees, supporting customers, solving problems quickly, and creating a culture of urgency, teamwork, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day branch, warehouse, and counter operations
Lead, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable
Ensure customers receive fast, accurate, and professional service
Improve workflow, productivity, organization, and operational consistency
Manage receiving, stocking, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and deliveries
Monitor safety practices and ensure equipment, vehicles, and facilities are properly maintained
Support sales efforts by building customer relationships and helping the branch reach performance goals
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and prevent inventory loss
Maintain high standards for cleanliness, accuracy, communication, and customer follow-through
Work closely with upper management to execute company goals and branch initiatives

Ideal Candidate

Strong leadership background in warehouse, distribution, retail, supply, or contractor-facing environments
Comfortable managing both operations and customer-facing sales/service teams
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
Strong communicator with the ability to train, mentor, and direct staff
Experience with inventory control, warehouse procedures, logistics, and operational KPIs
Comfortable using computers, inventory systems, reports, and basic business math
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Hands-on, energetic, and willing to jump in wherever needed
Proven ability to improve systems, processes, and team performance
