Restaurant Floor Manager – High Volume Spanish Restaurant

Location: Walnut Creek
Job Type: Full-Time

We are a high-volume Spanish restaurant in California seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Floor Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a strong restaurant operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily front-of-house and overall restaurant operations
Lead, supervise, and motivate a high-volume service team
Ensure exceptional guest experience and resolve customer concerns promptly
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and labor costs
Train, coach, and mentor managers and service staff
Maintain service standards, efficiency, and consistency
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Drive sales, profitability, and operational performance

Requirements

Minimum 4+ years of experience in restaurant management (required)
Experience in high-volume restaurants or busy environments (required)
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Hands-on, operational mindset — comfortable being on the floor during service
Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
