Full Job Description

Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This position ensures accurate financial transactions, effective inventory management, timely invoicing, and a well-organized office environment while providing responsive support to both internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Coordinate and maintain inventory procurement, receiving, and tracking to ensure operational readiness.
Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.

Office & Administrative Support

Purchase office supplies, inventory, and stock to maintain a productive workplace.
Assist with office organization and light facility upkeep.
Support day-to-day administrative functions that contribute to overall business operations.

Client & Team Support

Assist with client-facing accounting inquiries and discussions, delivering a high level of service and professionalism.
Provide administrative and accounting support to dispatch and operations personnel as needed.
Collaborate across departments to help ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.

Additional Contributions

Support compliance with company policies by ensuring accounting and office procedures remain current, documented, and accessible.
Participate in special projects and initiatives that support company goals and operational excellence.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

2 years Bookkeeping or Accounting Experience

Associates Degrees

Microsoft Suite

Quickbooks experience a plus
