Full Job Description

Join our vibrant team as a Hostess/Host and be the welcoming face of our dynamic dining environment! In this lively role, you'll create memorable first impressions by greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Your positive energy and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, friendly atmosphere where guest satisfaction is our top priority.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and menu options
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold our high standards of hospitality
Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service is highly preferred
Strong customer service skills with an energetic, friendly demeanor
Excellent communication abilities, including phone etiquette and guest interaction
Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of serving, guest relations, and hospitality best practices is beneficial
