$5,000 Sign On Bonus

Job Summary

At KidsPeace, the Clinician role is primarily responsible for oversight and coordination of clinical services offered to assigned clients, including the provision of individual, group and family therapy within our residential environment.

Job Duties/ Essential Functions

Within assigned caseload, provide clinical services and individual, group and family therapy using appropriate approaches, techniques and interventions.
Participate in treatment planning, discharge and aftercare planning.
Maintain regular communication with internal and external customers and provide psychoeducation as necessary to appropriate customers.
Co-manage the therapeutic environment by working with treatment team members to ensure the coordinated treatment and care of clients; Recommend program and treatment strategies and consult on client issues.
Assist in the performance and/or observation of restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and who are physically threatening or otherwise presenting a threat to themselves or others.
Maintain awareness of the KidsPeace continuum of services and actively promote the internal transfer and referral of children and families whenever clinically indicated by attending bi-annual training on the continuum and communicating with associates between levels of care and actively seeking opportunities to share information about the continuum with consumers as evidenced by written documentation in the client record.
Perform all program or state specific job duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field required. License eligible required.

Salary: $53,000.00 - $67,000.00 annually

KidsPeace provides weekly supervision for LCSW / LPC licensure.

Location: KidsPeace Corp · KidsPeace Adolescent Unit - DUMMY REQ
Schedule: Full Time, Primarily M-F with additional hours & weekends as needed
