Full Job Description

Job Summary
The Dental Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing front-office operations and ensuring a positive patient experience. This role includes scheduling appointments, handling patient communications, verifying insurance, and supporting administrative tasks to maintain an efficient and organized dental practice.

This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, coding, and time management, along with excellent phone etiquette and administrative skills.

Arabic speaking is definitely a plus.

Duties

Present treatment plans and explain procedures/costs
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and following up on visits.
Greet patients and provide a warm, welcoming experience
Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and communication with patients.
Assist in the management of office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow within the dental office environment.
Verify insurance and assist with billing and payments
Support billing processes by verifying insurance information and assisting with claims as needed.
Ensure that all patient interactions are handled with confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

Proven experience in a dental office setting.
Strong knowledge of CDT and dental terminology is essential.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
Proficiency in administrative tasks including office management and record keeping.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Experience with dental software applications, particularly OpenDental
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
