Full Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our growing steel fabrication team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with advanced equipment, paying attention to detail, and producing high-quality parts that keep projects moving.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machinery according to work orders and specifications
Load and unload steel material safely and efficiently
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and production schedules
Verify dimensions and quality of finished parts
Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
Identify and report equipment issues or quality concerns
Work closely with welders, fitters, and production leadership to meet deadlines

Qualifications

Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred
Manufacturing or steel fabrication experience is a plus
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic computer and machine interface skills
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Ability to lift materials and work in an industrial environment
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
