Job Overview

Ready Contractors, Inc., a respected leader in the eastern North Carolina construction industry since 1969, is seeking a meticulous and highly experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team. With a long-standing reputation for quality workmanship and reliable service, we are looking for a professional who can uphold these standards by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our critical project data. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to play a key role in our operations from a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing large volumes of information, maintaining databases, and producing reports that are vital to our business success.

Responsibilities

Accurately input, update, and manage large volumes of data related to construction projects, including budgets, schedules, materials, and labour records.
Perform regular database maintenance, data cleansing, and verification to ensure the highest level of accuracy and integrity across all systems.
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for project managers and senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Analyse data to identify and correct discrepancies, resolving any inconsistencies by liaising with relevant departments.
Collaborate effectively with project teams to gather and synthesise project information in a timely manner.
Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve data entry efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain the strict confidentiality of all company, client, and project information.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a demanding data entry or data management role, with a track record of handling complex datasets.
Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas).
Familiarity with database management systems or ERP software is essential; experience within the construction industry is highly advantageous.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
