Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Clerk to join our dynamic administrative team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate data within our accounting systems. Your efforts will ensure smooth financial operations and support the overall efficiency of our organization. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses strong computer skills, and has a keen eye for detail to handle clerical tasks with precision and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records using databases and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
Process invoices, payments, and order entries efficiently while verifying data accuracy.
Manage filing systems for financial documents, ensuring easy retrieval and proper organization.
Collect and compile data related to accounts receivable and payable, supporting financial reporting processes.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, spreadsheets, and perform basic math calculations for data analysis.
Assist with transcription of financial information and prepare reports as needed.
Support office operations by handling clerical tasks such as typing correspondence, organizing files, and managing office supplies.

Qualifications

Proven clerical experience with a strong background in office administration or accounting support.
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with the ability to develop pivot tables and perform basic math functions.
Experience working with databases and ERP systems is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data collection, filing, and order entry processes.
Strong typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks; familiarity with transcription is a plus.
Knowledge of office procedures such as filing systems, data collection methods, and administrative practices.
