Now Hiring: Senior Export Compliance Manager
Location: Miami, FL (Onsite)
Salary: $140,000 Base Salary
Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Are you coming from an aerospace, aviation, airline, MRO, OEM, logistics, or global trade compliance background and looking for an opportunity to lead a high-impact export compliance function within a growing aviation organization?

This opportunity is ideal for experienced export compliance professionals seeking a long-term leadership role where they can apply their regulatory expertise, influence business operations, and support global aviation and aerospace initiatives.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Export Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen a global export compliance program within a highly regulated aviation environment. This role will oversee compliance with U.S. and international export regulations while partnering closely with operational and executive teams to support business growth and mitigate regulatory risk.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring deep expertise in export controls, licensing, regulatory interpretation, and compliance risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the company’s global export compliance program
Ensure compliance with EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and other applicable export regulations
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
Manage export licensing strategies, applications, renewals, and authorizations
Review high-risk transactions and assess end-use/end-user compliance risks
Lead internal audits, investigations, and regulatory responses
Manage voluntary disclosures and corrective action initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and IT teams
Deliver compliance training and promote company-wide regulatory awareness
Monitor regulatory updates and advise leadership on operational impact
Make independent compliance determinations, including shipment holds or denials
Maintain accurate compliance documentation within ERP and compliance systems

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in export compliance management
Deep knowledge of EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and global trade compliance regulations
ECoP (Export Compliance Professional) certification required
Experience managing export licenses, authorizations, and government agency interactions
Strong understanding of regulatory enforcement and global compliance risk
Ability to review and classify technical data for export control purposes
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Background check and drug screening required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within aerospace, aviation, MRO, OEM, defense, or distribution environments
Experience supporting international operations and global customers
Experience using export compliance software and ERP systems
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
Experience managing complex regulatory audits and investigations
