Hi, we’re AdaptIV Infusion.

We are a fast-growing Ambulatory Infusion Clinic in the Fort Bend/Sugar Land/Katy area with a relentless focus on the patient experience. We are completely reimagining the environment and quality of care for the administration of infusion therapies of specialty drugs.

The Job

We’re looking for anAccount Executive to help our sales, marketing, and business development efforts and drive referrals to our office. You will work closely under our senior account executive who will train you and show you the ropes.

Position Overview

In this role, your primary focus is to visit physician specialists such as neurologists, gastroenterologists, rheumatologists, immunologists, as well as pharmaceutical partners and other referral partners to introduce AdaptIV Infusion.

You will use your charm, affability, and people skills to set appointments, communicate capabilities, and build rapport with referral partners; ultimately growing and nurturing a network of trusted relationships in the area. You will also host and attend community events, join local organizations, and engage in other business development activities to expand our marketing reach.

Our team has a deep background in marketing and technology and you will be well-supported.

In this role you will be in the field most of the time, so download some good podcasts.

Major responsibilities

Identify, vet, and develop relationships with referral managers, physicians, front-office staff and other referral sources
Tee up meetings with high-value referral sources for AdaptIV’s senior Account Executive
Educate physicians and office staff on how AdaptIV can make their lives easier and their patients’ care better
Maintain close relationships with the doctor’s offices after the referral to continually gauge their satisfaction
Participate in community events, local and industry organizations, and trade shows

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
Strongly preferred: 1-3 years’ experience in an infusion-adjacent role (i.e. referral coordinator or office manager at a physician’s office that prescribes infused drugs, pharmacy tech in a hospital or closed-door pharmacy, experience at an ambulatory infusion center or home infusion provider, etc.). Other roles with relevant experience will be considered, including pharma/device, DME, medical supplies, or similar sales rep positions.
Friendly, outgoing, well-spoken, great communicator, and personable
Independent, self-starter, able to pound the pavement without micromanagement
Comfortable, nay, thrives when challenged or rejected
