Executive Chef | Cornerstone PubBuild Something Worth Being Proud Of.

Cornerstone Pub is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary program and help establish the foundation of a new restaurant built on craftsmanship, accountability, and hospitality.

This is not a turnaround job.

This is an opportunity to build a kitchen the right way from the beginning.

We're looking for a leader who understands that great restaurants are built through consistency, discipline, systems, and respect for people.

The Opportunity

As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for all back-of-house operations including:

Leading and developing the kitchen team
Hiring, training, and retaining staff
Establishing systems and standards
Managing food cost and labor performance
Inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
Recipe execution and quality control
Food safety and sanitation compliance
Menu development and seasonal features
Working alongside ownership and the General Manager to build a culture that lasts

This role is about leadership, not ego.

We're looking for someone who can create structure, develop people, and maintain standards without creating fear or chaos.

What We're Looking ForRequired

5+ years of kitchen leadership experience
Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Sous Chef experience in a high-volume environment
Strong financial understanding of food cost, labor, and inventory controls
Experience developing teams and mentoring cooks
ServSafe Food Manager Certification
Strong organizational and communication skills
