Now Hiring: Roofing Manager (Employee Management)

Location: Palm Desert, CA
Company: Castro Roofing, Inc.

Lead Our Team

Castro Roofing, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Roofing Manager to oversee and manage our field employees. This position focuses on employee leadership, accountability, training, scheduling, and ensuring our crews consistently meet the company's standards for safety, productivity, and workmanship.

This is an ideal opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys developing employees, maintaining organization, and ensuring daily operations run efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all roofing field employees on a daily basis.
Assign crews and ensure employees report to the correct job sites each morning.
Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, and overall performance.
Conduct regular job site visits to ensure employees are following company procedures and safety requirements.
Enforce company policies, work schedules, and OSHA safety standards.
Train and mentor new employees while providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
Address employee concerns, resolve workplace conflicts, and maintain a positive, professional work environment.
Coordinate employee schedules, vacation requests, and staffing needs.
Ensure crews are equipped with the proper tools, materials, and safety equipment before leaving the yard.
Maintain communication between the field and office staff regarding labor needs, scheduling, and daily operations.
Conduct employee evaluations and recommend disciplinary actions, promotions, or additional training when appropriate.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Minimum of 15-20 years of roofing/construction experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to motivate employees while maintaining accountability.
Working knowledge of roofing practices, materials, and safety requirements.
Experience enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
