Staff Accountant:

Location: NCR Ventures Home Office – Chagrin Falls, OH

Reports To: Senior Finance Team

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: $62,000–$70,000 annually + bonus potential

Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant will support the accounting and financial operations of our restaurant concepts. This position is responsible for financial reporting, Restaurant365 administration, inventory reporting, and partnering with restaurant leadership to improve financial performance and operational processes.

This position reports to the Senior Finance Team and works closely with Operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and support informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting, including Profit & Loss statements, journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and balance sheet maintenance. Research and resolve financial discrepancies and analyze key financial trends. Process invoices, maintain vendor records, resolve vendor inquiries, and manage the weekly accounts payable cycle.
Support weekly payroll processing and reporting. Manage food and beverage inventory reporting through Restaurant365 and analyze inventory and food cost variances.
Serve as the Restaurant365 subject matter expert by supporting reporting, troubleshooting, training, and process improvements. Partner with General Managers, Executive Chefs, and Operations leaders to provide financial guidance and operational support.
Develop and maintain standardized accounting and operational procedures. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, efficiency, and internal processes.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Two or more years of accounting experience preferred. Restaurant or hospitality accounting experience is a plus, but not required. Experience with Restaurant365 or similar ERP/accounting software preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities at once.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary $62,000–$70,000 (dependent on experience)
